Program Overview

The economics minor provides the study of microeconomics and macroeconomics at the introductory and intermediate theory level. The program also requires study in fields of economics, such as labor, international, financial or environmental economics.

Opportunities Upon Graduation

The minor in economics can add rigor to a variety of related fields and can help sharpen quantitative and critical thinking skills. People with economics trainng work in a variety of jobs in the private sector, the education sector, the non-profit sector and government agencies. The minor in Economics helps prepare students for continued education in Law School, Journalism, International Affairs, and Public Policy.
