Program Requirements

A minor in meteorology consists of a minimum of 28 hours including:

• GEOG 101 - Physical Geography Credit Hours: 5
• GEOG 121 - Human Geography Credit Hours: 4
• GEOG 302 - Meteorology Credit Hours: 5
• GEOG 304 - Observations in Meteorology and Forecasting Credit Hours: 2
• GEOG 305 - Practicum in Meteorological Forecasting Credit Hours: 2
• GEOG 406 - Introduction to Synoptic Meteorology Credit Hours: 5
• GEOG 407 - Advanced Synoptic Meteorology Credit Hours: 5
