Environmental Chemistry Major (B.S. or B.A.)

To prepare for a career in environmental chemistry, you can pursue the regular B.S. or B.A. in chemistry and take some of the following environmentally related courses as electives. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has advisors in environmental chemistry to assist you in planning your studies in the field. The B.S. degree program is chosen by students seeking entrance into graduate programs in chemistry.

Requirements for the B.S. Degree


Requirements for the B.S. degree in environmental chemistry include at least 78 hours of chemistry from the following:
