CAS 2600 - Tech Matters This course investigates the creation, application, and implications of technologies throughout history. Topics will include the physical foundations of technological achievements, the moral and ethical issues associated with technology, the use of technology to enhance human interactions, and the effects of technology on society.
Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to describe how technologies shape individual and societal identities.
- Students will be able to explain how technologies are used within various fields of study or professions.
