FIN 3000 - Introduction to Corporate Finance Introduces the student to the basic principles of short-term and long-term corporate financial management.
Requisites: (ACCT 1005 or 1010) and WARNING: No Credit if taken after the following: FIN 2400 and 3100 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - The students will have a better understanding of the business firm’s leverage, risk, cash flow, working capital management, and long-term capital investment.
- The students will understand corporate financing activities and some aspects of international financial transactions.
- The students will understand the role of finance within a business firm.
