AST 3910 - Advanced Field Training Field training experience at various U.S. locations to act as a cadet instructor, assisting officers in the training and evaluating of cadet trainees for their fitness to become cadet officers.
Requisites: AST 3020 and 3020L Credit Hours: 1 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 40.0 coop Grades: Eligible Grades: F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Cadet can successfully lead a small unit element in accomplishing their mission.
- Cadet can work as a team either in a leadership position or as squad member in a fluid environment.
- Cadet is able to execute complex problem solving skills in changing environments.
- Cadet is able to execute troop leading procedures and can apply them in a tactical situation.
- Cadet is able to pass a day, night, and written land navigation course.
- Cadet passes the Air Force Physical Fitness Test to prescribed standards.
