SASM 4910 - Internship in Sport Management Internship experience that provides opportunities to learn by participating in day-to-day activities of a sports and entertainment-related organization for a minimum of 280 work hours for 3.0 credit hours. Intended for a sports and entertainment-related organization experience following sophomore year.
Requisites: Permission required and sports management major and (Jr or Sr) Credit Hours: 1 - 12 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 12.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 280.0 internship Grades: Eligible Grades: F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to apply academic knowledge in a professional setting within the sports and entertainment industry.
- Students will be able to solve practical real-world problems in a professional setting within the sports and entertainment industry.
- Students will be able to demonstrate proper business etiquette while fulfilling internship responsibilities within the sports and entertainment industry.
