PHIL 3010J - Writing With Critical Reasoning Skills This is a writing intensive course whose topics for student essays will vary depending upon instructor.
Requisites: (PHIL 1010 or 1300) and (Jr or Sr) Credit Hours: 3 General Education Code: 1J Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students demonstrate writing skills (precision, accuracy, clarity, brevity, and wit) in their writing.
- Students will be able to write essays on philosophical topics such as the nature of truth, what is the good life, is there a God, why study philosophy?
