QBA 1720 - Introduction to Information Analysis and Descriptive Analytics Introduces students to information analysis and descriptive analytics. Includes the organization of data, central tendency and dispersion, probability concepts, probability distributions, sampling distribution, estimation and hypothesis testing, simple linear regression analysis, analysis of variance, nonparametric statistical tests, and the use of Excel in statistical analysis. Introduces students to effective information designs to help solve business problems. Students critically analyze business problems and develop high quality information designs that inform and support management decisions using personal computer software tools.
